San Diego Petco Park

Padres Petco Park in Downtown San Diego is a great ballpark that is situated on the outskirts of the historic Gaslamp District. With great sight lines and wonderful views of Coronado, the downtown skyline and the Marina, PETCO park is one of the coolest stadiums in the country. The architects integrated the original structure of the Western Metal and Supply Store as part of the left field. Whether you're into hot dogs and beer or sushi and prime rib and Pinot Noir, San Diego PETCO park has something for everybody.

PETCO Park Seating

The seating at Petco is divided into sections or neighborhoods. There is grass seating picnic style in the right field. There are 42,000 fixed seats around the park, each with good leg room and cup holders. In the Western Metal Building, there is patio seating that is first come first serve until the 3rd inning, then is refilled with fans from the 3rd to the 7th inning (if this sounds complicated, it sort of is -- best advise is go there first if you want to sit on the balcony and talk to the PETCO park attendent in the bar). PETCO Park Parking

If you take the trolley into Downtown San Diego, you don't need to park. There is parking on the Southeast side of the stadium, as well as several parking structures near the park. There is also a host of private parking lots, although they are typically as expensive as on site parking and are further away from the park.
